This is a 16" x 20" rendition of one of a pair of my Mother's earrings. I admired them as a child. The central area is a large pearl cabachon on a gold base. It's amazing what life a piece takes on when you focus on it alone.
This was used by a psychology adjunct at Barry University in South Florida. The exercise was for the students to find and count the "eyes" in the drawing. This was a lot of fun! Shown here - section of entire drawing.
