Madeline Faiella is an experienced artist, designer, and craftsman, formerly trained at The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. She is the creator of Madeline Faiella™ Designs, a diverse line of art, jewelry, home decor, and creative services.
Her fascination for jewelry designing impelled her to create JazzFuzion™ a line of one of a kind jewelry and original beads and pendants, rings and more.
Madeline has a fascinating background that which includes extensive world-wide travel. Her friends love the stories and photos of those travels and often ask her to play show and tell. She also brings nuances of those travels to her work through color, and movement, while integrating the cultural aspects that have influenced her style.
Her hands-on work in the creative industry (see the About Me page for more information about CHA, SCD, HIA, and ACCI) is a part of what she does. She tells us that what she has done is who she is today. She holds memberships with CHA, SDP, and NPCG. (Craft and Hobby Association, Society of Decorative Painters, and the National Polymer Clay Guild.)
Her philosophy for Madeline Faiella™ Designsand ">JazzFuzion™ is simple. "If you don't see what you want, ask for it." If she can't create it for you, she will connect you with one her many resources. Madeline enjoys sharing with other artists and believes that the goodness of your heart is where your work lives.
Another wonderful aspect to Madeline's business philosophy is her philanthropic intentions. Madeline has donated her time and artwork to charities, (March of Dimes, Cystic Fibrosis, Junior Diabetes and more), other artists through her mentoring, and most recently to assist with raising funds for "For the Public Good" via Broward County Legal Aid Services. This year, 2008, "I humbly offer some of my work for the silent auction to encourage funding for the cause. It is a very minor action taken on my part in comparison to the outstanding work done in the legal community by those who selflessly give of their time, skills, and energy."
Madeline Says:
"At Madeline Faiella™ Designs you will discover diverse artwork and home decor that I have created. Each piece is made with expert craftsmanship. You will also have someone to whom you can inquire about anything from home decorating to creating a craft project. Just ask! My consulting services are reasonable and in-depth. Simply ask!
At JazzFuzion™ you will find one of a kind pieces of jewelry that are casually elegant and very affordable. This summer I will offer original pendants in mixed medium, polymer clay and PMC. You will also find traditional pieces of "strung" jewelry made of the finest components including, but not limited to sterling silver, fine silver, gold filled, pewter (non-tarnish), Swarovski®, gemstones and semi-precious gemstones. Soon to make an appearance; 14kt gold.
Some years ago I stepped into the craft and hobby industry to learn more about the business and some of the fascinating products and techniques it had to offer through its array of talented Designers, Manufacturers, Editors and Publishers. I continue to learn all the time. Through the industry my work is published in magazines and online e-zines. No stranger to cameras and TV from my former singing career, it was also fun being on TV (Paint! Paint! Paint!) and having my work featured on the Carol Duval Show (HGTV).
During the time that I was a member of the Society of Creative Designers (SCD) f/k/a Society of Craft Designers, I spent more than a year as a continuing contributor to its Newsletter. I offered individual articles, after-show highlights and reports, and wrote an ongoing column. It was not only satisfying to write, it was a way to give back to the community. (SCD n/k/a Craft and Hobby Association [CHA]).
I'm proud to be a part of a multi-faceted, conceptual group while keeping my individual style intact.
